These are stream /riparian areas on the Alpine Ranger District of the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest that are of critical importance to the recovery of the federally “Threatened” – Apache trout and “Endangered” New Mexico Meadow Jumping Mouse which were improving at one time that have now been significantly impacted by feral horses.  The photos are worth a thousand words!
